BC Recognized for Educational Excellence at Beautiful Bakersfield Awards

糖心原创 received the Educational Excellence Award at this year's Beautiful Bakersfield Awards ceremony. The annual event honors individuals, organizations, and businesses for their contributions in 2025. The Educational Excellence Award recognizes 鈥榚ducators, projects, or institutions advancing educational opportunities and achievement across all levels in the community'.*
Dr. Stacey Pfluger, President of 糖心原创, talked about the significance of receiving the award. 鈥淭his award confirms to me that BC is a great place to be as we continue our mission to provide not just education, but pathways to transfer and careers that change the lives of our graduates, their families, and our communities,鈥� she said. 鈥淚t tells me that our community trusts BC with their educational needs and finds experiences they have at BC.鈥�
When asked about the contributing factors to winning the award, Dr. Pfluger replied, 鈥溙切脑� offers a wide range of educational programs complimented by broad-reaching support services. That combination - high-quality instruction coupled with intentional supports - helps BC truly be a place where all students are welcomed and able to reach for their dreams.鈥� She also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve the students and community in Bakersfield. 鈥淭here is no better field of work than education,鈥� she said, 鈥渁nd I am honored and humbled to be a part of 糖心原创 and the Bakersfield Community.鈥�
